German and Berlin

A country I would like to visit is German. It is in Europe. Its capital is Berlin.

The country is full of castles and huge museums, the birthplace of Beethoven, Goethe, Richard Wagner. Germany also has one of the best orchestras in the world, the Berlin Philharmonic.

For example, its capital, Berlin, has around 3 million people (as of the 2019 census) and dates back to the 13th century. It is home to large-scale monuments such as the Brandenburg Gate, as well as the remains of the Berlin Wall and Holocaust memorial plaques.

In this country was filmed the great series called "Dark" in which they show beautiful locations of the German Black Forest, in addition to the talent of its young actors.

The date I would like to visit is in September because from the 16th onwards begins the beer festival called oktoberfest.

 My favorite piece of technology In this age, of all pieces of technology, my favorite is the smartphone, because I can call to my family and friends, read notices and event, too study, have class for video call and other things. BILLY BUDD

  The best concert I went to is a not very common one. It is an opera called Billy Bud, by the composer Benjamin Britten. I came to the concert everytime they gave me the ticket. I also performed at the Santiago Opera in 2015. It is a very particular story. A sailor named Billy Bud believes in the ideals of France: freedom, equality and fraternity and because of that he receives better treatment as sailor, which it does not happen, since the same commander of the ship is in love with the protagonist and as he is not accepted, Klagar, the antagonist, decides to destroy him. To do this, he devises a plan for a possible mutiny where finally the protagonist kills Klagar in an accident and receives, like any sailor on the high seas who kills a colleague, the death penalty. It is there where they decide to hang Billy, while his companions really want to riot now, since they consider it a profound injustice. It is something beautiful and sad at the same time.
